Shares of Burger King India limited listed on the bourses and had a great day. Shares which were issued at Rs 60 closed the day with gains of 130.67% on BSE and 125% o n NSE. Earlier the company had tapped the capital markets with it fresh issue for Rs 450 crs and an offer for sale of 6 cr shares in a price band of Rs 59-60. The promoter had further sold 2.75 cr shares to four investors post the filing of the RHP and the issue opening for subscription.
The issue had received excellent response and was subscribed 157.16 times with QIB portion subscribed 86.48 times, HNI portion subscribed 357.45 times and Retail portion subscribed 68.79 times. There were over 24.15 lac applications in the issue.
Earlier the company had allotted 6,07,50,000 equity shares at Rs 60, to 22 Anchor investors comprising of 55 entities. The highest allocation was made to Fidelity Funds who were allotted 1 cr shares or 16.46% of the anchor allocation to 3 entities within the Fidelity group.
The discovered price on BSE was Rs 115.35 while it was Rs 112.50 on NSE. The traded volume at the discovered price was 6,03,623 shares on BSE and 1,96,92,855 shares on NSE.

The combined traded volume was 2059.47 lac shares which was 1.53 times turnover of the IPO size of 1350 lacs and 2.77 times of the non-anchor portion of 742.50 lac shares. Delivery was 646.61 lac shares which was 31.40% of the traded volume. It was 47.90% of the IPO size and 87.09% of the non-anchor portion. There were no names on the selling side while there were two names on the buyer side on NSE in bulk trade. Valiant Mauritius Partners Offshore Limited bought 25 lac shares at Rs 130.28 while Basant Maheshwari Wealth Advisors LLP bought 24.31 lac shares at an average of Rs 112.79.
The share has performed exceedingly well without doubt and is likely to gain further in the coming days. How much more is a question mark.
