Prince Pipes and Fittings Limited which had tapped the capital markets with its simultaneous offer for Rs 250 crs and an offer for sale of Rs 500 crs was subscribed. The company increased the offer for sale size by 50 crs and allotted the additional shares to Oman India joint investment fund II, an entity promoted by SBI and the Sovereign Wealth Fund of Oman. Incidentally the same entity had subscribed to 50 crs worth of shares in the Anchor book as well.
The issue was subscribed 3.54 times by QIB’s, 1.21 times by HNI’s and 1.89 times by Retail investors. There were 1,61,379 applications and on the basis of lots the retail portion was subscribed 1.38 times.
Earlier the company had allotted 84,26,965 equity shares to 8 Anchor Investors comprising of 13 entities. As mentioned earlier the highest allocation was made to Oman India joint investment fund II, an entity promoted by SBI and the Sovereign Wealth Fund of Oman. Six funds including HDFC, Aditya Birla, SBI Life, HDFC Life, Mirae Asset and Tata Value Fund were allotted 10% each of the anchor allocation.
The issue had opened on Wednesday the 18th of December and closed on Friday the 20th of December.
