Zomato Limited which is tapping the capital markets with its fresh issue of Rs 9,000 crs and an offer for sale of Rs 375 crs, in a price band of Rs 72-76, completed allocation to anchor investors. The issue opens on Wednesday the 14th of July and closes on Friday the 16th of July.
The company allotted 55,21,73,505 equity shares at Rs 76 to 100 anchor investors comprising of 186 entities. This makes this the largest allocation in terms of number of entities in recallable history.
The highest allocation of 2,16,10,095 shares or 3.91% was made to New World Fund. This was followed by Tiger Global Investment Funds who were allotted 2,13,76,290 shares or 3.87% of the anchor book.
Domestic mutual funds were allotted 18,41,04,960 shares or 33.34% of the anchor book. There were 19 anchor investors comprising of 74 schemes.
The list of anchors is really large and seems to include almost all names that one sees in anchor books across companies tapping the capital markets.
