Oberoi Reality Limited which had tapped the capital markets with its IPO in a price band of Rs 253-260 listed on the BSE and NSE today. The company had a listing ceremony at the BSE and the opening price was Rs 280. The opening price on the NSE was Rs 271.10. The high was Rs 299 on the BSE and an identical Rs 299 on the NSE as well. The low was Rs 269.80 on the BSE and the open of Rs 271.10 on the NSE. The share after the first hour of trade is at Rs 289.25, a gain of Rs 29.25 or 11.25%.

The company had raised 1028.61 crs through the IPO and had made an allocation of 71,12,160 shares to anchor investors. The issue was very well received by QIB’s who had oversubscribed the issue 22.15 times. HNI category was subscribed 3.61 times and the retail category 0.94. The overall issue was subscribed 12.13 times.
The weighted average after the first hour of trade is Rs 287.56 which is almost at the current price itself, indicating that the volatility is not there in the share. The total traded volume after 90 minutes of trade is 391.43 lakh shares which are almost equal to the IPO size of 395.62 lakh shares. Its good volume and considering the fact that retail had received full allotment of the shares it’s a great start to the morning.
Share has had a flying start and more importantly it is holding on to the gains.
