Mid-Valley Entertainment Limited which had tapped the capital markets with its public issue to raise Rs 60 crs is to list on Thursday the 27th of January 2011. The issue is being listed only on the BSE. The issue was subscribed just a shade over 4times.
There were more than half a dozen issues or risk factors which made investment in the issue risky. The subscription figure shows that people particularly retail investors expect to make a killing on listing day in this issue and that is the only way one can explain the oversubscription of 9 times by them. One hopes the people who will be trapped in this share realise what they are doing when they invest in a company which had a turnover of about 12 crs in the last financial year.
