PC Jeweller (PCJ) which is tapping the capital markets with its IPO for 451.33 lac shares in a price band of Rs 125-135, completed the allocation to anchor investors. The allocation was made at the top end of the price band of Rs 135. The company has allotted a total of 67,16,250 equity shares to 11 institutional investors from 10 entities. The top two institutions DB International and Reliance Vision Fund have been allotted 14.81 lac shares each. The two institutions together would own 44.12% of the anchor allocation.
PCJ would be raising Rs 609.30 crs at the top end of the price band of Rs 135. There is a discount of Rs 5 to retail investors. The issue would open for subscription on Monday the 10th of December and close on Wednesday the 12th of December.
Subscription to the issue would be influenced by the price performance of another listed player Tara Jewels Limited which listed on Thursday and has been at the receiving end for the last two day. Yet another issue which opened for subscription on Friday CARE is expected to receive overwhelming support from all investors. This over-subscription would have a positive rub off on PCJ.
