Interglobe Aviation Limited –Completes allocation to Anchors

The company Interglobe aviation Limited which owns Indigo Airlines and is tapping the capital markets with its IPO completed allocation to anchor investors. The issue consists of a fresh issue of Rs 1,272.20 crs and an offer for sale of 2,28,24,018 shares in a price band of Rs 700-765. The company has been under lot of flak on account of the promoters not attending the road shows and the dividends and negative net worth of the company. The allocation to anchors is probably the best news for Interglobe and its management in a long time. The company has allocated the full quantity of shares 1,08,76,215 shares to 43 anchor investors at the top end of the band at Rs 765.

The list is impressive and with the highest allocation being 7.28% of the anchor book, it clearly demonstrates that there was demand and that the merchant bankers had to pick and choose. The full list of anchor investors is given below: –
