Born in 1957 in Kolkatta
Schooling from Campion – Mumbai
B.Com graduate from Mumbai university Sydenham college
After completing education started work in textiles and has been a marketing and admin person.
Sold textiles, paper, dairy products, tea, coffee, sugar and various others during a stint lasting 14 years.
Thereafter came to the stock market with the idea that if i could sell products which are tangible, why could i not do well selling ideas – stocks. Entered stock market in 1988 and became a sub broker. Well known figure on business television talking about markets and with a clear focus on the retail investor. Was a free lancer and had an IPO column in the DNA till the IPO market ran dry. Well known for bold views and an influential opinion maker.
Currently working as an advisor corporates and HNI’s, advising on the markets and business strategy.
