National Fertiliser OFS completed at floor price

National Fertiliser Limited (NFL) which had offered to sell 374.80 lac shares at a floor price of Rs 27 to comply with the minimum public shareholding managed to do so at around the floor price. The company received bids for 584.74 lac shares or 1.56 times the offered amount of shares. Of the total shares bid for a fourth or 27.87% were bid for by individuals or non-institutions after paying 100% of the bid amount and the balance 72.13% were bid for by institutions.

The government has garnered Rs 101 crs from the sale and made yet another PSU listed entity complaint with the listing norms and minimum public shareholding norms for PSU companies. The share price closed at Rs 27 on the BSE with a gain of Rs 0.30 or 1.12% while on the NSE it closed at Rs 27.15, a gain of Rs 0.60 or 2.25%.
