Quess Corp Limited which is tapping the capital markets with its fresh issue to raise Rs 400 crs in a price band of Rs 310-317. The company allotted 56,78,234 equity shares at Rs 317 to 15 Anchor investors comprising of 22 entities. The largest allotment was made to Morgan Stanley who was allotted 12.61 lac shares or 22.21% of the shares. All the remaining 14 anchor investors were allotted an identical 3,15,495 equity shares or 5.56% of the shares. Even the allotment to Morgan Stanley is 4 times this number.

The issue has opened for subscription for the public on Wednesday the 29th of June and would close on Friday the 1st of July. The issue is expected to be very well received and oversubscribed very heavily. Considering the almost 10 lakh applications received in the previous issue of Mahanagar Gas this issue in the retail segment is likely to receive a minimum oversubscription of about 8 lac plus applications resulting in an oversubscription of 30 times. The HNI portion is already discounted for subscription in the 325-365 times range.
