Tara Jewels Limited which had tapped the capital markets with an issue to raise Rs 179.5 crs was subscribed. The issue had opened on Wednesday the 21st November and closed on Friday the 23rd November, and the price band was Rs 225-230. The company had completed an anchor allocation of 11.59 lac shares and raised Rs 26.66 crs. The anchor allocation was done at Rs 230, the upper end of the price band. The issue comprised a fresh issue of Rs 109.5 crsand an offer for sale of Rs 70 crs.
The issue received reasonable response and was subscribed about 1.98 times with the best response coming from HNI’s. The surprising fact was that the employee quota which was a mere 1% of the total issue remained undersubscribed and received response for a mere 11,00 shares or 0.14% of the category.
