Great start – Share up about 40%
Texmo Pipes and Products Limited listed today on the BSE and NSE. The company had come out with its IPO in a price band of Rs 85 to Rs 90. The issue size was 50 lakh shares. The issue received excellent response from NII or HNI’s and also retail. The issue was overall subscribed about 7.48 times.
The share opened on the BSE at Rs 101.50 and on the NSE at Rs 92.80. The open prices itself were the lows. The high on the BSE was Rs 129.95 and that on the NSE was Rs 130.30. Trading on the exchange has been very brisk and as of the first hour just about 2 crs shares have been traded. This is four times the IPO size.

The weighted average of the day’s trade is around Rs 124-124.50 indicating that volumes are all happening at higher prices. Great start to a new listing and very clearly investors have made money and good money with the share trading at 40% higher within the first hour of trade itself.
