Den Networks listed today on the BSE and NSE and proved once again that the greed of promoters and merchant bankers will not recede. The share within minutes of trade was more than 15% below its issue price. It may be pointed out that this is the only issue which was priced at the lower price band in 2009 so far.
The issue was listed at Rs 195 on both the exchanges. The high on the BSE was Rs 197 while on the NSE was Rs 199.80. The low on the two exchanges so far has been Rs 158.40 and Rs 158.60 respectively.

The share is under immense pressure and roughly 44 lac shares or about 23% of the issued capital in the IPO has been traded in the first 35 minutes of trade. The share was trading at around Rs 161.6 at 10.30 am, a loss of about Rs 34 or 17% to the issue price.
