Midfield Industries Limited listed its shares on the BSE today. The company had launched its IPO for 45 lakh shares in a price band of Rs 126-133. The issue was subscribed just under 13 times. The price fixed was Rs 133.
The share opened today at Rs 159.40 and made a high of Rs 174.90. The low which was made in the morning itself was Rs 153.10. The share has been trading sedately and the volume fairly high considering its listing day. After the first two hours of trading the share saw volumes of just about 1 crore shares which is roughly 2.2 times the IPO size of 45 lakh shares.
